Community Builders for Autistic Kids, Their Parents,and Caregivers
We are a group of health experts and social workers striving to build a more inclusive community for Autistic children in Africa.
ASD-Accept is the culmination of our years-long research and efforts for ways to create awareness about Autism in Africa, where the neurodevelopmental disorder is believed to have supernatural causes and children with Autism are locked up, abused, and often abandoned by their families. We want them to be integrated into society and live a quality life, like those born without a neurological disorder or health condition, by helping them reach their full potential.
Our Mission
To break the stigma surrounding Autism in Africa, raise awareness about the condition, and provide parents, educationists, and caregivers with information and resources to help overcome growth obstacles and facilitate the development of kids with Autism in Africa.
Our goal is to helpkids with Autism in Africa overcome their unique challenges, reach their full potential and improve their quality of life.
We also aim to build an educational platform for parents, caregivers, and schools for Autistic kids that they can rely on for authentic, complete, and up-to-date information and reliable tools.
Our Vision
We envision an inclusive, kind, compassionate, and empatheticcommunity for Autistic children in Africa.
We imagine an Africa where Autism is acceptable just like any other health condition, its diagnosis is easier, and treatment and support for it is widely available across all segments of society.

Breaking the Stigma around Autism in Africa
Working under the umbrella of IPS LLC, we aim to eradicate the misconceptions prevailing in the African continent about Autism in children. We are working for it by making correct information about the neurodevelopmental disorder easily accessible to the masses and providing people working with Autistic kids with tools and resources to facilitate their growth and development.
Our application – ASD-Accept – is free to use and can be downloaded from the App store on both Android and iOS devices.
